Photographed the beautiful Steffany last weekend out on Second Beach at Stanley Park. We shot just before the sunset and it was my first time shooting at Stanley Park (Yes, I know...). Steffany did a fantastic job of styling and is a natural in front of the camera.

I got the chance to shoot the Sirois family this past month, to welcome their new little one Kjersti! I’ve photographed both older siblings Bjorgen and Eben when they were newborns and also for their 1st birthdays. It’s been incredible to see this family grow up.

We headed to Ambleside Beach in West Vancouver and had perfect weather. The kids had a blast playing on the beach, and it was a joy to hang out with the family to get some photographs.

Hey everyone! Sorry for the lack of updates lately. I’ve been working on tweaking the website as well as finalizing business plans for 2012.

Everyone remember Nic & Jodi, the Valentine’s Day contest winners of 2011? Well, they’re engaged! They’ve asked me to be their photographer for the big day, and I’m so blessed to be apart of it. This past month we did their engagement photos, and they’re absolutely stunning. We were inspired by vinyl LPs, music and sunshine and this is what we got out of it. The weather was perfect and they’re such an adorable couple.

In June I had the opportunity to photograph a bachelorette party for Joanna. The theme of the party was centered around Moulin Rouge and all the ladies were dressed up. The room had windows extending up the ceiling and it was absolutely perfect for lighting. With all of the fancy outfits and a group of lovely ladies, I had a blast photographing them. This was my first bachelorette party and I hope it isn’t the last. Joanna also got married shortly after, so congrats to her and her new husband!

Had another shoot with the beautiful, Sam Chang-Foild. We got ready in the morning for a shoot in the rain. I have to say, it was my first shoot in the rain and I even wrapped my camera up in plastic just in case. Regardless of the weather, the photos turned out fantastic and Sam is always fantastic to photograph.

Last Friday, I head out to Vancouver to photograph Anca. We’ve been wanting to shoot together and finally were able to book a day that worked for us. We had the lovely Kyla Charney (www.makeupbykyla) doing makeup and we also had Alexa Kellee, who did a fantastic job of styling our shoot.

Got invited to photograph baby Eben’s first birthday. I remember photographing his older sister, Bjorgen at her first birthday and it was fantastic to be back. We started off with some sibling portraits in the front yard, there was the party with a beautiful cake and ended with Eben having a splash in the sink. These kids are so precious and it was a joy to photograph them for the day.

Took some portraits of my good friend, Ksenia. She’s been my photo shoot assistant as well as a model for my photography classes. She’s a blast to hang out with, and when we shoot it’s always a good time. We took these portraits after my first photography teaching session in lovely North Vancouver. It was pouring rain but we managed to find some shelter to take some pictures. :]

Did some portraits for my good friends Kristen and Eric. They took park in a photography project for one of my university classes and this was my thank you for all their help. They’re absolutely adorable and so in love, it’s too cute. The weather was perfect as we wandered around North Vancouver taking pictures. Love how these turned out and can’t wait to book more couple shoots!

I’ve been planning this shoot for a while; and I’m so glad that the whole team as well as the weather worked out.
The inspiration was 40’s/50’s but with a modern, darker edge. We have Jaime Halliday as our lovely model, makeup/hair done by Kyla Charney and styling done by Stefanie Jesney. It was a fantastic day and the shots turned out amazing.

Been planning this shoot for such a long time and finally our schedules worked! This is one of my really good friends Terence. We decided to hit up Downtown Vancouver in search for some crazy graffiti for our photoshoot. This is actually my first shoot with a guy, it’s always been girls for the past 3 years!

Had a chance to shoot Samantha over the holiday break. She’s always so fantastic to work with, simply just put her in front of the camera and she’s shines. It was absolutely freezing, and nearly rained, but we managed to get some great shots.

I have lots of shoots booked in the coming weeks so sure to keep checking back for updates!

This is from back in March 2010. Shivrani is working on her modeling portfolio so she ventured out to lovely Ambleside in West Vancouver for this shoot. The most memorable thing about the shoot was the lighting, it was harsh but somehow it managed to work. I’ve only posted one of these shots on my portfolios so these haven’t been seen by anyone yet.
