Golden hour, so beautiful and precious. I’ve been wanting to do a shoot during the sunset and knowing Vancouver’s rain - it’s rare. However, I did manage to get the perfect day to shoot with Marissa, make up artist Candice Johnson (www.c-makeup.blogspot.com) and our stylist Jessie Collins (www.jcsumaculub.dapoortfolio.com). I was inspired by gypsies and wanted to do a shoot centered around that. We shot in beautiful Lynn Canyon and with the sun setting it was absolutely gorgeous. Jessie did a fantastic job with styling and Candice did an amazing job with makeup.

I did a shoot with Shereen in late June before I headed off to Cornerstone. We had an amazing team on board, with make up artist Kad (Model Mayhem #2194831) and Jessie (Model Mayhem #2103799) our stylist. It was raining while we were prepping but the sun came out just in time for shooting. Everyone did a fantastic job and I couldn’t be happier with the pictures. Hope you all enjoy them!

In June I had the opportunity to photograph a bachelorette party for Joanna. The theme of the party was centered around Moulin Rouge and all the ladies were dressed up. The room had windows extending up the ceiling and it was absolutely perfect for lighting. With all of the fancy outfits and a group of lovely ladies, I had a blast photographing them. This was my first bachelorette party and I hope it isn’t the last. Joanna also got married shortly after, so congrats to her and her new husband!
