There are a few fun Easter eggs in the design. The photo of the Lions Gate Bridge, for example, is a little throwback to the first time we visited the church to take photos. At the time, Alex was preaching through Acts and used the bridge in his series, so we wanted to weave that bit of history into the visuals. Another featured image is the stained glass windows at the church.

The initial design was a book cover, and had later become used for banners, screen graphic, social media graphics, and YouTube thumbnails.

The project needed to pivot as an issue had come with the liturgical calendar we had planned to use no longer applied, now the design pivot to be used for the sermon series ‘Living in the Word of God.’

“Everyday we encounter competing narratives that vie for our attention, imagination, and affection. Yet, as Pete Hughes notes, “The story you live in is the story you’ll live out.” As followers of Jesus, we believe that the story of God found in the library of Scripture is the story that leads to life and flourishing. In this series, we give our attention to God’s story so that our imaginations might be captured by it and our hearts formed by it. Why? Because we want to learn to be active participants of God’s unfolding story in our world.”

Zero Zero Two is a premier pickleball club in the heart of based in Fort Collins, Colorado. The club is locally and player-owned, focused on performance and improvement, and committed to creating a better playing and customer experience.

This concept played with a dual identity—the “Z” acts almost like an anagram, doubling as a “2” and visually linking to the slash seen in the main “Two” lockup. The branding was designed to reflect a club for people who love the game, while walking the line between modern and stylish.

The orange, green, and off-white palette was inspired by pickleballs, but softened to create a more elevated, club-like atmosphere. The colours work in various combinations to bring warmth, contrast, and a sense of laid-back hospitality.

At the heart of the concept was a simple idea: create something by the players, for the players. From merchandise to posters to brand elements, the goal was to give both Founding Members and regulars something they could feel proud of—something that reflects the community they’ve built together.

While the final colour palette chosen for the brand had a completely different energy, this version still holds something beautiful. It’s bright, playful, and refined enough to fit the club’s vision.

Adults with disabilities are often overlooked, while some basic needs are met – they don’t have the same opportunities to enjoy life in the same capacities as others. AWDEA gives them an avenue to feel included. Some adults might be struggling with the loss of community that may come with a disability. This is for them, this is for them to build community, to feel inspired and to feel supported, seen and cared for as part of AWDEA’s mission.

A custom icon mark was created along with customized typography for a brand that is bold as it is experienced and accessible. The logo mark can work in a range of ways that can be used as a play button or even for way-finding. The design is inspired by the entertainment industry, and designs that feel timeless but also unified, modern and welcoming. The typography has been customized for a design that captures a style across all iterations – matching the logomark.

The bold icon represents an A, the spokes of a wheelchair, and a play button. It embracing their demographic & mission. The goal of this brand identity was to create something that visually fit within the entertainment industry while remaining flexible and unique for usage.

Colours are inspired by concerts and include a range of bold and high contrast colours that feel modern and thoughtful – while being also accessible and practical. The tones capture grit, character, and a little warmth and glow.

The name says it all… Verdant: lush botanicals & ingredients, thriving life… womanhood. The concept leans into these very ideas – embracing the senses, sensuality, mystery and celebrating the handmade. This direction evokes mystery, a touch of whimsy with some good-old fashioned bold inks and texture. 

The icon is Lady Verdant – half off her face is covered by the vanilla orchid + a cocoa pod; she is mysterious, elegant, and beautiful. The typography is inspired by botanical based brands (mezcals, florals) and old lettering styles – this customized typography offers something strong, unapologetic and handcrafted. 

The illustrated icon and typography work together in different layers and type hierarchies to bring together variations of print collateral to capture the different tones and sides of the brand: sensual, sophisticated, and editorial. The wide usage allows for seasonal releases, collaboration collections, and limited product releases.

Colours are lush tones of ingredients – a balance of spice and delight – something for the palate and the senses: rosemary, mint, pistachio butter, nougat, flushed, 80% cocoa.

As the selected final concept by the client – this design captures the client’s desire for something that embraces the beauty and mystery of womanhood. Compared to the unselected, the lean of femininity spoke to the client on a personal level – making it the final choice.

Inspired by old maps, this style of lettering feels established but still playful. Full of whimsy and magic – the shapes capture a perfect chocolate dome along with the classic square shape – perfect for a chocolate or a sugar crystal. It’s striking.

The icon and typography either alone or together are incredibly strong and recognizable giving freedom and boldness to build for visual identity.

Colours are inspired by tones that compliment the nautical and whimsical inspirations, but also leans into ingredients like winter sage, olive, cream, deep ginger and cocoa pod.
