Following a painful experience, Natahsha Priya approached Natasha Jolene for a collaborative session. As a songwriter and creative, Natasha Jolene wrote lyrics through the process which helped to provide material for the concept.

The art direction for the session was to explore the topic of vulnerability. With lyrics handwritten over the heart and chest, these portraits capture a progression towards healing. The progression follows confusion (double portraits), growth (florals), and freedom. The final photos of the series include Natasha Jolene removing the lyrics, and naturally in the process found and felt immense joy – a beautiful ode to simply say “I will be okay.”
