The branding is meant to reflect the gentleness of human interaction, sensitivity to the Holy Spirit, and kindness. The goal for branding is that whoever crosses Natasha Jolene feels rested, hopeful, and connected.

There’s a three-fold aspect to Natasha Jolene: Coach, Creative, and Community Cultivator.

There is consistency with the type used, we wanted to capture something that highlighted simplicity, a gentle boldness, narrative and is timeless. We avoided popular brush scripts to ensure the longevity of the brand.

Themes and words that inspired the process were: classic, timeless, bold, elegant, simple, and gentle.

The colour palette was taken directly from images of Natasha Jolene to emphasize her being the centre of the brand. Colours were then colour matched to ensure complementary tones, and that the usage of colour could be versatile through web and print use. The colours are meant to evoke humanness, rest, and florals.

The illustrated carnations were used in all concepts. Carnations are timeless, reliable, and simple – but exhibit peace and beauty. The illustrations were inspired by vintage botanical illustrations of carnations.

Art direction, design, and print collateral were done by Natahsha Priya.

Three concepts were delivered to the client, this was an unused concept inspired by the word ‘gentle.’
